Simson original crankshaft with 60cc?

Hello everyone,

I have a question regarding more cc on my moped…

I ride a Simson S51 Enduro with the original engine, so everything. So far, I've only done some cosmetic tuning (insta: s51.paul). Now I want to move on to performance tuning. I'd like to use the 60cc kit from ZT Tuning (60cc Stage 1). I wanted to ask if my original crankshaft can handle 60cc? I mainly ride in the city and rarely on country roads, but I also do the occasional 60km tour with friends.

Mooin,

So I’ve been driving 60N Stage 2 by ZT for a long time, that’s a monster, that’s what I’m driving a edited Stage 3. The original crankshaft has been holding this out of yes…. but not forever long, as the strengtheners of ZT.

If you want to go really nice tours, then I’d give you advice, invest 100s and get you a reinforcement of ZT, which is nice running and does what she’s supposed to do. And usually you should also change the clutch to 5 laminations, but you can let it be first, that also creates a well set 4er. But at least put them on needle storage, it costs around 20€.
