Simply delete HDD files after cloning to SSD?
Hello, I need some help. If I can successfully boot Windows and all the other Kraffel clones from my HDD and my SSD, can I just delete all the files from the old HDD, or should I be aware of something else? Thanks in advance.
I would back up the most important ones, but if the whole thing worked out then the likelihood of something happening again is quite unlikely, especially if you didn’t replace any other PC components.
I had no way to back up the files basically have no important files on my PC
Then why clone at all.
Just reinstall… 🤷 ♂️
So you have you are important data on it. 🤷
and I don’t want to reinstall anything because I don’t have a good internet
had not found a stick 😀 and was slow to pack Windows on my ssd
Counter question: Are you doing backups? Regular and timely?
Then you might not ask yourself the question, because you have backups.
Otherwise: Always delete the data you don’t need anymore.
Only you can decide which ones are.
