Remove silver spray?
Hello
I was a little idiot :/
My horse currently has an injury where I sprayed silver on it and I got it all over my expensive new riding pants
Has anyone here had any experience with this and could tell me how to get the stains out? 🙂
silver spray is water repellent.
with the material to which it is sprayed, there is an almost non-detachable connection.
do a rehearsal sprayer on an old jeans or better still the wash fabric from the riding pants (the piece that is in a plastic bag with expensive clothes, is exactly there for such tests)
so – water soluble the spray is not already.
try to dissolve part of the sample sprayer with vinegar and if that does not go, another part with oil
Unfortunately, you’ve already washed the pants.
there is something that then no longer works, although it also helps against persistent, fresh stains. one keeps the fabric taut, the other pours fresh, boiling water through the fabric. you even get weeping and blood stains out of silk.
Theoretically, this should go out with normal washing.
Small tip on edge 😉 Silver spray closes the wounds and leaves no more air, but what is important for wound healing. So if it was just a Macke, it’s better not do anything if the vet says nothing else. (Of course, the TA does not have to come for any Macke…) Otherwise just leave alone, skin and fur can do this super itself. Highly deeper stories with Octenisept disinfect or spray Aloe Vera spray on – otherwise it does not require baluspray or silver spray.
it is not possible to wash normally:/
We have an open wound at the hoof of the veterinarian told us silver spray on it and diaper around
Ah, okay, if the TA said that, it’s a different thing. And I don’t understand the meaning behind it, because it’s just on the hoof that air has to be stuffed (sweet ulcer) and only disinfected – a larger hole. But I don’t have to understand.
If it doesn’t get out during normal washing, I’m afraid I don’t know anything right now.
Thanks for the info – I will still not use it 😉 I don’t need it.
silver spray is air permeable.it does not seal the wound and it acts anbibiotic.

cleaning,
if necessary look at the spray can: whether solvents are in it and try with those mentioned there (e.g. ethanol, ethyacetate…)
or wash gasoline, but this can sometimes also attack the color….
That’s what’s going on.
I would give it to the cleaning
