An email signature is a block of text, images and links that appears at the end of each email you send.

The most common use of an e-mail signature is the indication of contact information such as professional name and phone number, but you can do more. Companies increasingly see email signatures as marketing opportunities.

This is the stuff that a company always writes under their email: name, position, address, phone, management and other uninteresting stuff.

As a private person, you should definitely avoid this! Unless you use PGP, you should attach your public key.

This is a kind of imprint (can you googlen).
You will find it under an email, and it contains
usually name, email address and phone number
of the sender, company with its address, possibly still form of company,
Trade register entry, etc.
