Side reflector e-scooter color?
Hello dear community,
The orange side reflectors are mostly available online. However, there are also a few red ones.
Does the color matter or is red only allowed to shine or reflect backwards?
Or should one simply wear these metal snap bands with LED and reflector surface (since these are worn on the person, they are subject to less strict regulations)
Thank you for your answers.
Red is allowed after my information.
Thank you for your answer. In the net I also find only the instructions in front white & in the back red are mandatory.
Google capping?
Show me the Google result with regard to the permissible colors for side radiators/reflectors of small electric vehicles. P.S. the regulations that have already been found by me relate exclusively to radiating forward or backward.
Please be careful: reflectors, cat eyes, spoke reflectors – on the bike mandatory
A reflector must be present both at the rear and at the front.
It helps to make cyclists visible in time in the dark or bad weather conditions –the reflector. Everyone who owns a wheel knowsthe yellow and red plastic partswhich are attached to the spokes, pedals and usually also to the luggage carrier or the protective plates.
reflectors, oralso called bicycle reflectors, are according to the road regulations (StVZO) for aBicyclemandatory. Without this, a wheel is not considered safe.
Yeswhat a reflector needson the bike where are you? What colors can they have and how strong can they reflect the light?
Theterm “catch eyes”is generally known for bicycles. What exactly hides behind it, what types of bicycle reflectors must be attached and whether sanctions threaten if they are not present, will be considered more closely in the following guide.
Small electric vehicle = E Scooter ≠ Bicycle
But was a nice attempt
