Yeah, that’s safe. They are baked under strict hygiene conditions and then immediately deep pipes.

The only risk that exists is that the cake has been thawed in between and has become bad. But this also does not happen because the frozen chains are also secured in the (large) trade.

And why are you asking? Was there a special reason what happened? You don’t have to worry about such frozen cake. It dries out more in the freezer than it really gets spoiled…

Yeah, that would be raw untreated fruit. But as I said, cake is actually safe!

So I’ve never read this before, and I don’t know any one where anything happened. Did you read this directly to cake or to something else?

Because basically the cake is baked in an industrial bakery. This means that the defacto was sterile/germ-free. And if it is immediately cooled down, no new germs will get so easy.

Something else would only be if the pack had been froze, then it would have been lying around for two days somewhere, and then it would have been piped in again.

I could imagine that with the germs at most in frozen fruits, herbs, fish or meat, which are not pretreated, but are immediately frozen raw. And if there were germs on the raw stuff, they would have chewed them with…

Then why should viruses or bacteria be there? If the pack is unopened, the cake has not expired and does not smell funny, taste or look, then everything is fine. Such a cake comes from a factory and there are highest hygiene standards
