Should you include social commitment in your CV?

Good Morning,

How do you correctly state in your application documents that you have been involved in social work? For example, that you regularly donate blood, help with food distributions for the homeless, etc.

Do not have blood donations at all (Other you actually work with the blood donation team and don't just let you take off those), volunteer activities can be performed under an extra point if you are after it and you really and regularly practice them.

You write this under hobbies:

Volunteer I work on the board

That you donate blood is my personal commitment, that is not part of the CV. You may mention that in an interview.

Why not. The employer will not be particularly interested anyway.

Hello,

I would leave that with the blood donation, but otherwise one could lead a point for social engagement in the CV and then the individual points. At school I learned this year and the teachers advised us to do this because it makes a good impression.

Social "property" is wrong in this case, and I would not mention blood donations. This has no relevance for the future employer. As a volunteer, you can mention the food issue for homeless people when you do it more often. Then it proves that you can deal with different people that you are reliable and can work on the team. Among other things. Blood donations do nothing like that.
