No. It’s just his opinion, so Indicative:

  • Bernd finds it unfair that after so many years he should be asked for his action.

Indirect speech, so Conjunctive 1+2 only if one reproduces neutral what another person said:

  • Bernd saide it is unjust that it (….) should be addressede.

It should be: “I thought I was have you not been in love. But I guess I wasn’t. Just a little straw fire.” (Conjunctive 2 for irrationality, because I was wrong.)

Pure grammatically, it is not an indirect speech, nor an opinion, but an indication.

Caution: Do not confuse grammar with semantics! ECT

In this form is the indication.

Conjunctively stands in the form “He finds that it is unfair that… “

This is not the case with indirect speech. That would be the case with him: he said that he would find it unfair that he should … be concerned.

These are the fine differences. It’s not easy.
