Should I seal the sweater print extra?

Hello there:)

I ordered a sweater. It has a print that looks like it's going to crack after a while (I hope you know what I mean 😂). I know that proper washing (turning it inside out, not using fabric softener, below 30°C, etc.) can slow the occurrence of such cracks in the print. My question is, is there a product I can use to seal the print? Something to "glue" over it or spray on it? I've scoured the internet and haven't found anything, maybe because it doesn't exist, but I think there's a specialist out there who can tell me if something like that is even possible, and if so, how. Best wishes, and I'm grateful for any helpful answers 🌹

Specialists – super! 👍 😃 That was good!

I think such prints are condemned to death. You can’t do that.

But I still want to give you hope: I have some hoodies with rubber prints. I always turn them to the left before I wash them. Exactly: Maximum 40 degrees -no softener. And they still live very well after a quite long time!

Unfortunately, there is nothing that prevents the impressions from falling apart.

If the fabric is stretched, or porous, the beauty is there.

If the good piece was expensive, I’d think to exchange it.

… or not even buy (if it is expensive).

I know what you mean.

It is best to turn these garments on the left and wash them at a maximum of 30 degrees, not put in the dryer. That’s how you enjoy it.
