Should I re-grout a mosaic floor after more than 10 years?

Hello dear community, πŸ‘‹πŸΌ

I installed this flooring/mosaic in my bathroom. I've attached a picture.

The floor was grouted.

Meanwhile, I started thinking about whether it should be re-grouted after a few years? It's been sitting in our bathroom for over 10 years.

Thanks for your knowledge. β˜ΊοΈπŸ˜€

If you want to remove something new, you have to ensure a certain thickness of the new joint material. This means that the old joint material must first be removed.
It’s like concrete. The concrete needs a certain thickness to hold. A thin, new coating does not stop on the old thick concrete and bursts quickly.

New and old joints are no longer fully connected.

So much work….
