Should I insert the vaginal tablet with my finger instead of the applicator?

Hey, I have a yeast infection in my vagina and was prescribed vaginal tablets yesterday. However, when I tried to insert the first one last night with the applicator, it hurt so much that I couldn't get it far enough inside, and half of the tablet was still sticking out of me after I pressed it down. I then pushed it further in with my finger, and that was a lot more comfortable, but I had to push it back in several times until it stopped sliding forward.

Should I insert the next tablet directly with my finger today, or should I try again with the applicator? Since that actually allows you to reach deeper into the vagina.

In most specialist information of medications present as vaginal tablets, that “during pregnancy [the] treatment with […] vaginal tablets are carried out without an applicator [soll]”. In return, I would suspect that the treatment otherwise only with the help of an applicator to be applied. The treatment should be used, for example, in case of cadefungin vaginal tablets 3 during pregnancy only after medical consultation, i.e. only with medical “assistance”. Since no applicator is to be applied during pregnancy, I would suspect that treatment without an applicator should be carried out only after medical consultation. But I’m not quite sure and I’ve researched this mainly by the example of KadeFungin 3 vaginal tablets. In other products, the type of application may differ accordingly.
