Should I get an additional battery for my e-scooter or replace the entire battery?

Good Morning ,

I bought a two-month-old used Ninebot e-scooter (f20d) two days ago. It's only done 70km and has a range of 20km, but when I ride it, it only manages 10km. I weigh just 65kg and I'm wondering why it's losing battery power so quickly. Is it because it's hardly been used or is it the cold? I'd be happy with 15km, but I'd also like to have more range. I'm still wondering whether I should buy an additional battery or replace the entire battery if the battery is getting worse. Or will the battery life improve if the battery has had several charging cycles or if it gets warmer? Thanks in advance 🙂

So after 2 months, a battery shouldn't be so fast. I think it is due to the cold and partly also to the often little real indication by the manufacturer

The range is specified in medium load condition and ideal conditions. If you drive under full load, this is not enough for 20km. With my e bike I can't do 120km with high.

Then don't buy used bullshit if you mean that.

With a 2 month old battery, it should still be fully functional. Cold has a very negative effect on batteries.
