Should I cancel the FoS or let it run to the end and not pass?

I'm currently doing the FOS, but I don't want to go on. At the moment, every thought about the FOS gives me a headache. I only have an average grade of 5, so I've considered dropping out. But I'd like to know if it makes a difference whether I dropped out or failed if I want to start an apprenticeship. I'd also like to know whether it makes sense to stay for another seven months and get a fail, or to drop out and bridge the time with a mini-job or part-time job until apprenticeships start up again (I don't have a place yet), but I would try to get a place in the seven months. I'm certain I won't be able to make it to the FOS. I have an MSA, which I can do something with.
