Should I be concerned about the tooth?

Hey, a piece of my tooth the size of a grain of sand just broke off on its own (and I didn't even eat anything). Now I'm wondering if I should be concerned. I can't even tell where the piece is coming from, but that can't be normal, can it?

Because of my braces, I see my orthodontist regularly anyway, and he's never had any complaints about my dental care. However, I can't get the brace back, and I'm a bit worried. Does anyone know more?

Hello Koray1819,

if you have no pain, then everything is at first o.k..

If a sharp grotto has arisen, the dentist can break it. If you eat normally, it’s gone after a few days.

If it should be a larger piece, the tooth is rebuilt with composite. No big deal.

Good luck!

Yeah, you have to go to the dentist. He’s gonna have to take it off so he can’t leave. And then all your teeth are pinched so they get harder. In future, you should use a special toothpaste to repair the tooth enamel.

Then go to the dentist, if possible before the holidays!
