Shift faster uphill?

I'm currently driving with my L-shaped sign. Recently, my dad and I were driving to a mountain village, and at the beginning of a steep climb, there was a tractor we wanted to overtake. While overtaking, however, my car flooded, and my dad said it happened because I was shifting gears too slowly. Do you have any tips on how I can shift gears faster uphill, and how much gas I need to give when starting off uphill to get away.

You normally switch before down to the overtaking… because from the moment you take out, you need the engine power and maybe you prefer to focus on driving during the overtaking process and not switching. If you have accelerated and the speed meter is close to the red range, it doesn't make any difference whether you need half a second for switching. Otherwise, the fast switching on the mountain is actually not different from the fast switching in the plane. So you can practice normal driving.

When overtaking, however, the car was off and my father said this happened because I switched too slowly.

I can't imagine how a bit too slow switching process should wipe off the car.

As long as the car remains in motion, it shouldn't happen when you get the wrong gear. Of course, the engine doesn't pull anything, but then you just turn in the right gear…

and how much gas I have to give when starting up to get away

You have enough gas. The steeper it is and the worse the vehicle is motorized, the more.

What do you expect? No one here knows what a climb you're talking about, so whether a 5% gradient or a 20% gradient. No one knows whether you're talking about a fully equipped, hopelessly underengined Corsa or what's well-engineered. And some combinations of engine, clutch and gear generally require more gas than others (Turbodiesel vs. Suction Gasoline)…

It is a matter of assessment and experience how much gas must be given in a given situation, with a given vehicle. Try it out, make experiences. You can use this in the future.

Small tip: Car driving is also a matter of feeling. You feel at the back whether the car wants to go forward or whether you need more gas.

Hello

If you want to accelerate uphill, you need to give a proper gas first in the existing gear (up to the speed limit), then you can turn up

When you drive on the mountain you can turn slightly higher.

Probably your car didn't get drunk, but you got the wrong one, that's to say, too high a gang, and the connection didn't fit anymore. Then of course you don't have a train.

Ask your father, he was there. There's no one here who knows what you're doing, and you might suspect anything.
