The exhaust must not be louder than the original, because otherwise the licence is cancelled and the vehicle is no longer allowed to drive in the public transport area.

If the vehicle is to be used only on its large plot, it must be satisfied – as the legislator prescribes – but even then adjacent neighbors must not be disturbed.

If you drive on the road and get caught by colleagues, you can stop driving and you can see how to get home.

“Smoothing” a loud vehicle to compensate for your own “weaks” can lead to unpopular consequences when you show up with it at a motorcycle meeting point – “Cafe meeting point”….Very many motorcyclists suffer from this, when individual, more and more beautiful motorcycle routes are blocked – physical disputes have been reported, accidentally knocked bikes but also accidentally lost spark plugs are no longer running.

In any case, he must not be louder than the original.

No, he can’t. If he is, then you can not continue on the spot.

From 1996, a limit of 74db was applied to passenger cars, since 2024 a limit of 68db.

For motorcycles whose type has been homologated after 01.01.2016, 77db (A) applies and this value has also been valid for exhaust systems from the accessories since 2020.

A change in the measurement method is planned for 2024.

Since it is only a minority that is affected by new measurement methods/limit values – the generality of the motorcyclists does not need as loud an exhaust as possible to compensate for weaknesses – even below the belly beak – no one will have problems with the new limit values….
