Sentence in the past – how correct?
Hi,
What's the correct name? It's about a singer who played her new song for the first time at one of her concerts. I wanted to write to someone and tell them that it was nice to hear it live.
If you write:
"It was really nice to hear (the song) live for the first time."
"It was really nice to hear (the song) live for the first time."
Or something else? With or without "for the first time"?
There are countless ways to dress your enthusiasm in words. Here is your sentence and an alternative:
Vllt: It was horny to experience the premiere of her on stage live.
second variant
Thank you. But this is also true or is it still different?
It is so correct and there are other ways to express it.
Listening to this song for the first time was an incredibly beautiful experience for me.
I’ve heard the song very often, but live it’s much more beautiful!
or something looser:
The song is totally cool anyway, but live really the Ober-Hammer!
etc.
That one? Somehow, mine sounds weird.
