Since you have no answer yet, I’ll answer. I’m not sure. As I remember lowering beans at night not their leaves, sunflowers.

Yes, they do.

In the case of the young tomatoes it is similar, but they fold their leaves with the dark up. Probably heat protection and also good against pests. When it becomes bright again, everything will stretch back towards the sun.

In sunflowers, I couldn’t check that the snails were faster…
