Send a parcel to a gas station?
I have a package that I will return at my own expense. My gas station has Hermes, and I often pick up my packages there.
Up until now, I have only sent with a printed QR code or one shown on my display.
But this time I only have the address where I have to send it.
Will this work there too or do I have to go to a “real” post office?
It doesn't matter whether DHL or Hermes, it will arrive in both cases.
But usually there is an RMA number, return label or something like that for you.
Die Firma übernimmt das nicht, ich soll nur deren Adresse mitteilen und muss selber zahlen. Auch ein Etikett bekommt man leider nicht.
The Hermes shop has stickers you can fill out before applying them. Then simply pay, apply the sticker, and keep the receipt safe.
I can, but I don't have to, right?
I'm not sure what size the package is.
Du kannst tun, was Du willst.
So what I always do is create a parcel label online on the Hermes website. After you pay, you get a QR code that you can use to go to a Hermes shop. Or you can print out the label yourself and stick it on the parcel.
Kann der Mitarbeiter es denn auch machen oder muss man es selber tun?
If you arrive with a QR code, they'll stick it on themselves. I've never tried whether you can have the parcel label created on-site. I suspect it's possible.
Hermes Paketscheine kann man auch im Paketshop erstellen.
