Semester ticket + disability card = take 2 people?
Hello,
With a student NRW semester ticket, you can take one adult with you on public transport on weekends.
With a disability card (with symbol B) you can also take a companion with you free of charge.
So is it possible to combine this and take two people on the train for free on the weekend?
Maybe someone here has experience with this, even if it's a very specific question 🙂
Maybe someone from the community happens to work for Deutsche Bahn.
Thanks in advance for your answers!
Interesting question. I would have said that you can only take one person.
But on the other hand, you need a companion for you, the second person is, for example, a partner or friend with whom you want to do something together. That's why I'm typing 2 people to take.
Think so.
The severely disabled person may travel free of charge and the accommodation. Since you can take one person for free at the weekend semester ticket, I think there are no problems
So you can take 2 people, my father is blind and my mother, also had a special card, so I and my girlfriend were free to ride
But you were also 2 people who were driving with 2 other people. This is about a person having two tickets, of which only one can be used and one person wants to take two people.
No, you can only take one person, because you're using a ticket yourself.
If you are entitled to free promotion according to the severely disabled card, you can get free from the contributions for a semester ticket as you do not need the semester ticket anyway due to free travel throughout Germany.
You can only go on a ticket, don't say that.
In addition, the disabled card applies to all of Germany.
the one person for the disabled card is a help. the second person is a leisure companion, so something quite different
Maybe! I'm just wondering why he's still buying a ticket where he's freeing everything.
The semester ticket is automatic when you are studying
