I haven’t heard anything like that yet, but with your description, I guess you’re just slightly short-sighted. Is it excluded that this could be the so-called pseudomyopie?

This is just a very easy short-sightedness – maybe you just tend to get zero through a fluctuating shape of the day and look perfect for some time when you stay outdoors longer. It’s just speculation.

With increasing age this can happen. Helmut Kohl is an example of this. I also had a colleague there was the short-sightedness with the middle of 50.

Why? Farsightedness is quite common from 50 onwards. In individual cases, this compensates for short-sightedness.
