Sell email address?
I've had a private email address for many, many years, which I recently realized would be a perfect fit for a relatively new company. Since I have nothing to do with the company and many of my contacts go through this address, I don't want to just offer it up for sale. I could get quite a bit of work out of it… Now I'm considering offering my address for sale to the company. Can I do that? Would it be legal? And last but not least: What do you use?

The company will already have an email address and now not convert everything to a new one..

Too bad.
That’s pretty nonsense. If the company has a website with its own domain, it can set up dozens of matching mail addresses without additional costs.
You don’t depend on yours.
You can save the effort.
No person buys email addresses
