Self-tanner alert: threads and white spots – help!?

Hey everyone,

I have a really strange problem with my self-tanner and wanted to ask if any of you have experienced this or if I'm just unlucky. 😅

After a few uses, this stuff has started to leave strings?! Like, sticky strings, like I'm applying chewing gum. On top of that, there are weird white marks, especially on my arms and legs. 🤔 I exfoliate and moisturize my skin normally beforehand, so that can't really be the problem. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? Or is it simply a sign that the self-tanner might no longer be effective?

I'm really curious to see if I'm the only one with this problem! 😄
