Self-presentation text good?
My name is xxx, I am currently 14 years old, but will be 15 in January. I am in the 9th grade at xxx school (a high school in xxx).
Now, about my personality: I've always been very open with people and enjoy listening to their problems. I really enjoy helping people; if they don't understand something, I explain it to them. People describe me as very determined and ambitious. Thanks to this trait, I've achieved a lot, and I've been highly respected by my peers and teachers.
Throughout my school career, I received a lot of compliments like this.
Grades and school:
I'm very good at English, biology, and geography. However, I hate to admit that history, physics, German, sports, and art aren't among my best subjects. I'm also relatively good at math, as I'm currently on a B. I did worse on my half-yearly report card, and the full-year report card also depends on the half-year. I still consider myself lucky, though, because these aren't the worst grades, and it gives me twice the motivation and strength for the next classes. I've been class representative and deputy media guide for a year so far. Right now, I'm deputy class representative.
My CV:
I was born on January 20, 2009, at the university hospital in xxx, and moved to Spain (Barcelona) with my parents when I was 10 months old. I grew up bilingual there (German and Spanish). At school, I also learned Catalan and English, meaning I could already speak four languages at around 4 years old and even write in cursive at 3. I'm not learning Spanish or Catalan anymore, but I've continued learning English for over 10 years. Eight years after immigrating to Spain, we moved to Germany and have lived here for six years.
Hobbies & Leisure:
I love playing soccer and have been a member of a club for a while. I don't really have time for basketball at the moment, so I only play that when I have time in the evenings.
I do something with my friends almost every weekend, and very often we go swimming because I LOVE swimming.
When it's colder or raining, I stay home and enjoy watching documentaries about other countries and Germany. I also enjoy geography and politics quizzes (eg, life in other countries) or countries and their capitals in general. I could name 90% of the 195 countries. I'm also interested in the different parties and politicians across Germany.
Why they should invite me to the interview:
I would represent Germany in the USA as a junior ambassador and spread my “German magic” everywhere.
I would offer Germany a very good reputation
and also improve my own weaknesses.
For example, what's done? Name one or two good examples. It's just that anyone can say…
At the age of 4, you weren't guaranteed to be at school….? Do you think the fourth class?
Especially these “also” are really confusing, “I'm good in x, I'm also bad in y, I'm also good in z”. Simply leave.
In addition, you count more subjects in which you are not as good as your statement, which makes no good impression. Count your two or three best subjects and then a hate box.
Let this section go, it sounds pretty bad.
If so en “, but what should be “Germany magic”? I would honestly replace it, the word sounds kind of pathetic.
The formulation is slanted, one “offers” no “righ”. You mean something like “representing Germany positively” or “contributing to Germany's reputation in the USA” or something like that.
Specific what? do you want and improve?
The rest is good.
Self-representation text good!
