Select the WLAN device in the Fritzbox network yourself?
Hello, I have a problem with my home network. I have a Fritzbox (basement) and two repeaters (ground floor and first floor) as a mesh network. My cell phone automatically connects to the nearest device depending on where I am. However, if the cell phone is in the basement, it always connects to the repeater on the ground floor. The range here is too short for a stable Wi-Fi connection. But the Fritzbox router is in the basement. If the cell phone connected to it, we would have a perfect Wi-Fi connection. Can you set which Wi-Fi device the cell phone connects to in the Fritzbox or on the cell phone? Unfortunately, I haven't found any information about this online.

If you have all connected to each other via WPS, the repeaters should have exactly the same setting as the Fritzbox.
Therefore in the Mesch, the phone should automatically connect to the best signal.

I’ve fixed the channels. Check which channels are occupied by the neighbors and find a free one. The automatic cabal selection was rather disturbing because it has changed constantly.
