Selbstplagiat: Wie soll ich mein Problem lösen?
Ich schreibe derzeit eine Hausarbeit, die sich auf eine gleiche Hauptthematik bezieht, jedoch völlig andere Quellen untersucht, eine andere Fragestellung hat und ohnehin einen ganz anderen Teilbereich dieser Hauptthematik abdeckt. Dennoch ist es so, dass ich einen historischen Kontext liefern muss, der stellenweise sehr ähnlich zu dem ist, den ich bereits in einer anderen Hausarbeit gebracht habe. Mein Institut sieht Selbstplagiate als fehlende neue Leistung an. Zwar wäre dies bei einem Entdecken nicht so schwerwiegend wie ein richtiges Plagiat, würde die Note aber sicherlich extrem runterziehen.
Mein Problem ist, dass ich nur so schreiben kann, wie es mir passt. Ich kann mir keine neuen Phrasen ausdenken, die dann nicht nach mir klingen. Mein Dozent kennt mich auch sehr gut und hat schon mehrere Arbeiten von mir gelesen. Er kennt meinen Schreibstil. Würde ich da jetzt alles auf Krampf umschreiben, würde ihm wahrscheinlich eher ein Verdacht kommen als anders herum.
Egal, wie ich die Sätze umstelle oder paraphrasiere, es bleibt einfach ähnlich.
Die Fakultät sieht es als unwissenschaftlich an, wenn man andere Hausarbeiten zitiert, also fällt das ja irgendwie auch weg.
Auch habe ich etwas Angst, zu meinem Dozenten damit zu gehen. Er kennt mich zwar gut, jedoch habe ich dann Sorge darum, dass er überall extrem penibel auf Plagiate achten wird, wenn ich ihm schon sowas berichte.

A reshaping does not alter a plagiarism. A plagiarism is about the Work to issue one other than its own. For example, his research results.
A “self-plagiate” is actually just about not using previous work to do the current work and the work required now. Don’t make you a lazy lien in extreme cases because you just have to give back what you’ve done before. That’s what you’re doing.
It’s very simple: I want you to know the places where you’re referring to your own past work, quite explicitly as such. And now, for this work, bring about a corresponding proportion of its own that is equal to the extent of work.
Note: The scientific work does not consist in writing the text. But in research, in the analysis of sources, in experiments and their results, and in bringing all this together in a context, so to genericize new knowledge. The text only serves to inform what you have worked out.

The real issue that is about is quite different from that of the other work. I analyze a great source of historical facts, while the other domestic work has investigated many small official sources in the state-law context. Only the historical framework, the circumstances and events associated with these sources are the same. From the 20 pages these generally introductory things make contextualization approx. 2 1/2 pages and it is also not about all the paragraphs, but about not making any sentence sound similar.
Well, that’s a completely independent work.
Again: It doesn’t change if you exactly shape it as in previous work. Just treat your previous work like a normal source of literature, just that you don’t write “The team around Prof. Müller from the Uni Pattern City has already worked out that…” but “In a previous work on XYZ, the author has already worked out that…”.

What do you mean “self-plagiate”? X scientists refer to previous work in their work. They make it so that their name appears several times in the literature directory.
That’s right. However, at my university such a self-plagiate is defined and forbidden for students, so you are always on a certain border.
