I asked myself the same and found in the internet that this is not the case

with me the body scanner triggered something but that was in the area of my pants pocket

If they inspect you more closely, then yes.

Otherwise not, nope.

I think so. At least at very many airports. In a full-body scanner, you can’t even have a handkerchief in your pocket because it would be obvious. And since the meaning and purpose of it is to see if one carries something in the body, they will probably see it.

Drive train. You won’t be shining like a heavy criminal.

Okay, that just shows me how long I haven’t made a holiday, but these scanners can’t let you shine through that they recognize a tampon, can they?The necessary radiation for that would be too strong.

I don’t know what airports you’re traveling like this, but meanwhile, many whole body scanners and no metal detectors have left.
