Seen a strange color while on drugs?
Hello,
Recently I took LSD at home with my best friend for the first time in years.
At one point, I was looking at a small white object, and it turned a color I'd never seen before. I almost freaked out because I'd never heard of such a thing. It wasn't brief; I could see it for a few seconds before I blinked. Of course, I was imagining it, but despite everything, I saw a color there that I'd never seen before.
You can probably imagine that I can't describe to you what it looked like. There is no mixture that can produce that. It was a darker color, but a color that had never been seen before.
Since then I think about it every day, I can no longer visualize the color because I have only seen it once and have no comparison.
My question is actually whether it's possible that we don't yet know all the colors. In quotation marks, colors do exist in our brains, but it still bothers me a lot.
I wish I could show what I saw

As synaesthesia arises on psychedelics, sensory perception is mixed, I can imagine that at the moment when you perceive the color, other senses have also played in and you have perceived it so completely new.
So the thing is not that you have discovered a new color, but you have thrown colours together with all your senses into a new construct.
That was a disorder of perception. People can only see the basic colors (RGB), everything else is imagination. Birds can see, for example, UV light, but what it looks like is unknown.
P.S.: I saw something like Maya Glyphen during meditation, the basic color was like turquoise, but completely surreal
That’s the problem with drugs, you can’t get what you’re experiencing anymore.
These color phenomena are well known, many also hear colors..
Better get your fingers off.
