Huhu! So, I personally have a DKB account for many years and was very happy until a while ago. However, what has always been negative to me is customer service. If you’ve got a problem, it can really get in the length until someone reacts. Otherwise, those in my times were always quite reliable and safe.

As far as C24 is concerned, I have no experience, but I understand your hesitation because it is so new. Personally, I always have an eclectic feeling. You know, I used to have an account with a pretty new bank that went completely broke within two years.

At the end of the day I would say: Take the DKB. She’s been established for a long time and you know what you’re getting.

Disadvantages of the DKB are, for example, that the account management is free only at a monthly minimum intake of 700 euros (usually no problem when using as a pay account), and that the Girocard costs 11.88 euros per year (99 euros per month, annually charged).

The free Visa debit card is sufficient for most purposes, but in Germany it does not have the same acceptance as the Girocard. How relevant this is, everyone has to judge for themselves.

In addition, the ING changes its terms (to date those of the DKB lichen) as at 1. December and increase the minimum entrance to EUR 1000 and the Girocard price to EUR 1.49 per month. It would therefore not be surprising if the DKB adapts to this in the near future.

If someone could report his experience with the bank/banks, I would be very helpful.

I am both satisfied with the DKB and the C24 and as far as it is concerned and have not had any real problems with the two banks.
