Secure Boot + CSM?

I have a question,

I'd like to enable Secure Boot. The BIOS says I need to disable CSM to do so. I did that and enabled Secure Boot, but now it always boots into the BIOS setup instead of Windows. How do I fix this, and can I enable both features at the same time?

Thank you and kind regards

Yes, I can’t. You cannot activate the backwards compatibility and then expect features of the new version.

Apparently, your Windows version does not support UEFI…

You don’t have to reinstall Windows. If you reactivate csm, secure boot shut off, boot in Windows, run there in the cmd mbr2gpt.exe and then run csm deactivate, secure boot and start Windows.

Yes, you have to reinstall Win, because yours has not been installed as UEFI

and no SecureBoot or TPM generally only goes with UEFI mode

what you can try is by boat stick win to repair…

You can fix the problem in which you reactivate the csm, secure boot off, boot in Windows, run there in the cmd mbr2gpt.exe and then deactivate csm, secure boot activate and start Windows.

This way ensures that the MBR plate is converted to a GPT and no data is lost.

The 1. Says that the conversion of the selected drive failed, while the 2nd edition expresses that the program does not find the place to create an efi partition.
