Second joint doesn't get you high?

Hello, I smoke joints with friends every now and then on the weekend and last week we had 2 of the same joints.

I turned on the first one around 6 p.m. and I was pretty stoned, too. Then I turned on the second one around 9 a.m., but I barely noticed it. My friends said they had it too, so they do it often.

Does anyone else have this and is there a reason for it?

Hey Milan05,

that the first joint feels stronger than the second one is related to the fact that your organism, by the first joint, has, in a way, already “conciled” to the effect. You have practically still effective THC from the first joint in the system and thus the “increasing effect” is less than the first joint you smoked soberly. It is similar, for example, in alcohol.

The THC acts for several hours. If you smoke a second after the first joint only a few hours later, you can’t expect that it looks as strong as the first. That’s normal.

This is also the reason why you cannot compare two different types of grass in one day.
