Search history and page visits on the Easybox?
Hello everyone,
We have an Easybox and will soon be switching to a Fritzbox. The question is, can the Easybox track Google searches and visits? If so, will this history be deleted if I turn the Easybox off and on again?
Neither the Vodafone Easybox nor the AVM Fritzbox record such data in their logs.
That’s right.
All right, thanks for the quick answer. But why do many say that this is possible?
Theoretically, it is also possible, only do not make many.
It is not inconspicuously possible to log in search patterns at google! Only DNS requests and connections to which IP addresses on which ports. Everything else is running encrypted today. If someone hangs in between to read this, there are certificate errors.
As a private user less. The provider will have access to it if he wanted.
I don’t know any explicit data about the logos of Vodafone or Fritzbox, but I don’t think you’d find the search history now spontaneously somewhere.

“Your ISP has access to all your router logs. Internet providers are trying to keep data confidential, but they may have to issue it if the government or the police asks it in the course of investigation.”
But nothing is saved, so even if you want, you can’t find anything. Do I understand?
