SDXC card is not recognized by my laptop?
Good day everyone,
I take photos and have always used my old SDXC card. I always had problems with it being recognized every 10 times I plugged it in. I thought it was the old computer, as it was running slowly and had other problems. My grandfather gave me a used HP laptop (Windows 11) that's really good (Forza 4 runs well). I wanted to edit pictures and videos. I plugged in my SD card, and nothing happened. After a quick check, I saw that it was recognized very briefly (2-3 seconds), and then the SD card symbol disappeared. The driver must be up to date. I checked and updated it using a supposed driver program. I then bought two new SDXC cards because I thought this one was broken. It doesn't work 😕. The new cards are recognized immediately on the old computer. So I thought the SD slot was broken, so today I bought an SD card reader and tested it directly with a micro SD card (it works), then with an SDXC card ( it doesn't work, none of the three cards).
please help thank you
Best regards, Max
It is possible that the old laptop only supports SDHC but not SDXC. I have a 14-year-old laptop and he doesn’t accept SDXC cards.
Well, the new one would have to be from 2016 -17, the older laptop takes them but the new one does not
