Screen flickers white in the case?

To all electronics engineers,

My screen flickers at the back if I don't shut it down and start it up, but just turn off the screen (if that makes sense). I'm afraid to touch it, so I unplugged it yesterday. It stays white the whole time, so it's not flickering from the screen, but from the back where the speakers and buttons are. Should I stop using it, and could it be dangerous? Thanks for the answers.
