I think it’s worth it. V.a. because you can often not afford a car with 18 and so a scooter is unbeatably favorable in maintenance. I’d rather buy an old 50 moped, like Zündapp or Simson. You can do everything yourself with some skill.

Where you just mentioned cheaply: Ne mobile Simson or Zündapp (even in old West-Mopeds the prices have increased sharply) now cost from approx. 2000 euros upwards, whereas a corresponding scooter is already available from 500 euros.

Okay, you’re right. In the purchase, they are expensive. There is no loss of value if you sell the part after a few years.

Guess that young you don’t think so strategic. Had a VW T2 Bulli with 20. Buy back wound wg hidden engine damage. If someone had told me that a few decades later I would get over 20,000 euros, even though he had cost me only 1800DM, I would have put him in a barn.

Costs less than a car. Is it embarrassing to be seen on a scooter? Or is it embarrassing you not to have money for a car? Or…?
