Is there a ticket evasion fine?

Hello everyone, I wanted to take the train home, and it was the last one because there weren't any more going in the direction I needed, and there were people at the machine. I couldn't buy the ticket in time because my train was already arriving. I sat down and then I saw a ticket inspector. I quickly got up and ran to the door because there was a stop right there. I traveled for about a minute, but he asked me for a ticket. I said I couldn't buy it in time, but he said I still needed a ticket, and he said I had to pay 60 euros, and the cameras on the train film everything. I said we'll get off there and I'll give him the 60 euros. He asked for my ID. I wanted to get out, but the train closed the doors, and he quickly got on.

I know it was a very bad idea but I couldn't buy the ticket in time because of the queue and that was the last train going in my direction.

Will I still be fined and did the cameras really record my face?
