Does the pill still protect me if I take it 4-5 hours later and have sex?

Hello, I take the Maxim pill, which has a 12-hour window. I usually take it at 7 p.m., but for the past few weeks, I've been taking it between 11 p.m. and midnight. Is that bad? Does it provide less protection? I still had sex.

I didn't forget them or have diarrhea.

Hello

At Maxim you can take a forgotten pill up to 12 hours later without losing protection.

To avoid forgetting the pill, you can save the memory into your phone. You can also place the pack next to the coffee machine, next to the coffee cups or next to the toothbrush.

Our many years of experience has shown that it is safer to take the pill in the morning. You usually stand up at the same time and when you get up on the weekend, the time difference doesn’t matter because you can take the max up to 12 hours without losing the protection. Besides, you have time to take a forgotten pill all day. In the evening, you’re more on the go, and you’ll see the time.

No, that’s not a problem. As you write yourself, you can take them up to 12 hours later without losing protection. So as long as there are no more than 36 h (24 + 12) between 2 pills, you are still protected.

So at a time window of 12 hours it had to be normal.

If there are only 5 hours at most, there’s an answer.
