Schufa entry due to credit card request?

Hello everyone 🙂

A few weeks ago, I requested various credit cards because I wanted to use them as an anonymous online payment method. However, I never intended to take out a loan.

Most credit card providers rejected me, and suddenly I received a card from TF Bank, asking me to sign something and send it back to activate the card. I would probably get a loan there, too. But I don't want that, so I ignored the letter and didn't touch the card.

Do I have Schufa entries for this?

If so, is that a problem? I haven't received any benefits. How long does this entry stay?
The most important question is, will this affect me in a few years when I want to finance a car? 😿🙈

many kind regards

any credit request including the credit cards, bank cards, etc. all land at the Schufa. You agree with every request that your credit is requested and stored at the Schufa.

Unfortunately, that was a little “blöd” I have to say.

If you should request a Schufa self-examination and request this to be changed to “Condition” request.

EIncomes remain stored for at least 1 year.

It is always important that you say “only a contract request”.

In the sense of your question, probably no.

Not completely excluded.

Even your phone contract is up to them.
