I am not going out of the export or a craftsman, but from a self-driver: there are also vehicles for 500 euros and less and again, which are actually as good as possible and relatively good from the state. They are favorable because they are models that no one wants – such as in the direction of one Ford Escort from the 90s going. They are almost worthless even with TÜV, because no one wants to have such a thing and it is only sold over the price. Of course, that’s nix for encoder and notorious poser… but for unreasonable, the thick is fine.

I even had an Audi 100 for 500 Euro and a Ford Mondeo for 800 Euro – nice things are different, but they were also reliable and I drove through the area for years. Both cars came from reputable older people, were technically fine and visually “acceptable”.

However, a Mercedes for 500 Euro is rather rare – if, then this is a rusty C-Class from the 90s, a finished W210 or the like – but so one can hold quite a few years, technically they are usually okay, look only visually modest.

I know some people who have shot at such cheap cars and have been well over the rounds for years. Not everything that’s cheap is bad. Who else doesn’t care and who just wants to be mobile and maybe screw himself or knows someone who makes it a good thing, is not to use it.

Look at this:

you drive an old E-Class and need headlights and interior parts.

New price is very high so you have the choice

Auto-user and e.g. 50€ for a headlight pay x2 = 100€

or you buy the whole car for 500€, take out what you need and screw the old parts back in & sell the whole thing for 500€ or something cheaper.

Battle vehicles are very in demand. In addition, one often finds true treasures at the “Schrott” and can make them beautiful again as a project or hobby with a new dream.

Such models are very popular abroad.

In Germany, no one takes a car with 250,000km. In Eastern Europe these cars drive to 500-1.000.000km. Like 200/220 CDI engines from MB or 1.9TDI from VAG.

Of the other gold:)

  • make the most necessary and then drive for a short time
  • complete set up as hobby/project
  • to slaughter when you have the same model at home

  • Professional repair the cars themselves
  • Precisely very old parts of premium brands are used for the production of spare parts
  • Many of these Fz. go to export, among others, to Africa or Easter and drive there (without Kat, who is wg. precious metals very valuable-) many decades.

I already did.

With some idea you can drive a car for a limited period of time for small money.

The risk can be overwhelmed, as there’s hardly anything to put in.

These vehicles often go to North Africa, are being restored and slipped away there!

Depends!

For years I have always bought vehicles (usually Ford Mondeo) for about 3000€ and drove to major repairs, then he was sold for 1000€ to Africa (these are those buyers who put their business card to your car). Mostly I drove the car >7 years.

As a spare part dispenser, for production or for abroad.

For what reason people buy an old “caputt” Mercedes for 500€.

perhaps because they are not so stupid to buy a scrap car like mercedes at the new price?
