Does a sentence containing an abbreviation end with two periods?
ByShenLee
I've asked myself this question over and over again – here's an example sentence: The Colosseum was built in 72 AD. Does the last period, which is actually intended to abbreviate "Christ," cancel out the period used to mark the end of the sentence, or should there actually be a second period? I think both…

Tips for writing a book?
Hi guys, I'm writing a story about a girl who finds out she's a witch and goes to an academy. Since this is very cliché, I wanted to ask how I can build more tension? Should I just let her know that she's a witch? Or should the story begin in the Academy? However, the…
Does the plot tend to be useful or can it just result in a pile of crap?
Good afternoon I recently came up with two ideas for a story on Wattpad. And today I came up with the idea of combining the two. However, I'm not sure if the plot would be boring that way. I'm rather unsure about this area, so I came up with the idea of asking random people…
Idyllic aesthetic Latin words?
Do you have any beautiful Latin words, both in sound and meaning? If not, which German words do you like?
Only travel diary during a holiday. not.
I write diary regularly to sort my thoughts. I usually don’t write about experiences, or just about those who fall out of my routine.
I do this because I find it interesting to look back on my old self.
I’ll do it. I started with it because I was very angry one day and wanted to get rid of my frustration somehow. That actually helped me and I started writing up my negative feelings. At some point I added positive entries to the diary. Later I glued on some pages of papers to add things to individual entries later. Then on the inside of the cover came a few notes with stories from my life, a stick letter about me and a list of people I like. So my diary, which I use today, has become what it is.
Of course, I don’t write every day in my diary, but if I feel that something belongs in there, I’ll write it off. That’s a lot of fun. It has somehow developed into a kind of hobby to guide and design my diary. Of course, there are still negative entries today, but they have become a bit lesser in time since I am no longer in the upper level.
I used to run a very detailed diary to record my experiences. But I’ve become a writer inwish.
No, for security reasons
