Writer’s block?
Hi, I'm currently writing a novel. But I'm suffering from writer's block, and I'd love to hear any tips that might be helpful or have helped you.
…are there times during rehearsals when you have to play passages or pieces that you find (deadly) boring? Do you find it harder to stay motivated in such cases compared to pieces you enjoy? Or do personal feelings not play a (major) role in an orchestra? Do you sometimes get emotional when a piece particularly…
Good morning, noon, or evening (depending on when you're reading this). I have a new book idea and would love to know what you think. David Schäfer has just completed his medical studies and works as a junior doctor in the children's ward. He is often admired for how well he deals with young patients….
Hello, I find the topic of "Titanic" very fascinating and wanted to know if Mr. Murdoch shot himself in the head for killing two people on board? What's your opinion on this? I can't find a one-sided answer. MFG
Hello dear horse lovers, I once toyed with the idea of taking up riding. Actually, it was just a hobby, rather than competing. What do I need to keep in mind? What would be the cost for riding lessons, horse, etc.? Any other tips? Thanks in advance.
I have the impression that there are two types of writing blockade.
There is so the superficial ‘No Bock grade’, and it is usually enough to force yourself to write at least one sentence. And as soon as you have written the first sentence or the first paragraph, the block is usually gone and you can just keep going.
The other is a rather deeper one that comes from having too many problems to get involved in his creativity. It would be better to tackle his other problems, and not so much to be able to write right now. And if the problems are reduced, creativity will come back by itself.
Sometimes when I have it, I’ll wait a little and sometimes it’ll be back. I heard a song that reminded me of something I could write, so how about emotional music? For example Falling apart or something. I think I’ve never had anything like you before. I often don’t know how to write an already elaborate scene. Then it helps me think about important details that would be useful or I look in various books how the particular things have written. Maybe it would help you to work out points that must necessarily occur in history. Then you’re making a kind of side-by-side scenery because in the missing chapters it might be more about explanations. Then maybe you can find something you could add. So, for example, something is explained about the fate of someone – that happens in a bar… Then you’ll go to the rest of the story.
Hopefully this will help you a little. :
You have enough time to write the novel. Maybe go for a walk and listen to some music to inspire you. Or you read books.
Hey thank you but I’ve been taking a break for a long time and I’m always doing nothing in my head
Maybe you have a burnout? To stressful everyday life?
Yes may have been a lot around the ears
I actually write and fight as distraction but now I am through each other
