Beautiful silver fish for the aquarium?
Can anyone recommend silver-colored fish that would be good for keeping in a 100-liter (freshwater) tank?
Black-cloak tetras and phantom tetras immediately come to mind. Do you know any others? Also, I'd be happy to hear about ones that tend toward the more "typical" fish shape, like splendent barbs.

Hi.
Silver are many fish up to a certain degree, so equipped with a silvery shine – in the right light.
That’s the crunch. Yellow light from above does not necessarily promote that fish are beautiful silver shiny – that would be more neutral white light or sunlight from the side/front against dark background. That is, for example, also black ground and as dark as possible stones/roots.
That means – it can be worth considering how to illuminate.
Otherwise.
Silver mollys- you scratch with 100 litres but at the minimum pool size
Carnegiella myersi and marthae- not so clear silver
there are many real silver Salmlers – they are all too big. Brilliantsalmler and Diamondsalmler especially. Corynopoma risei – they are small but very fast. I won’t keep 80 cm in the racing pool.
Corydoras haveatus
Hyphessobrycon elachys (the latter are both happy to hold together as Corydoras hastatus imitates these Salmlers by its coloring to be fit with them in nature 😃)
Brevibora dorsiocellata often plays in the green gold
Sawbwa resplendens plays in the bluish
Guppy… silver lace snakeskin are rare.

Very good idea imho: There are really great medakas with shed and also with really aggressive white silver especially from above
Oryzias latipes – Medaka-Zuchtformen – Aquarium Glaser GmbH
Hyphessobrycon bifasciatus has a yellowish shine.
zebrabärblingen
A silver breeding form of Medakas
Moonlight (even if 100 litres are a bit too small)
Guppys
Silver Molly ( these are the fish that are really all silver )
Black Neons
I don’t know anything but my black neons have a beautiful silvery shiny stripe.
Otherwise only the fish mentioned in the other reply
Schillerbärblingen 🙂

I don’t like a 🤨
Zebrabärblingen!!! Enjoy your aquarium!
Are not silver but orange red. A 100 liter aquarium is also much too large for them that you take 50 pieces
There are other fish in there and my were SILBER with black stripes!!! There was nothing orange!
