About Chur & den San Bernardino (Tunnel) then Lugano, and from Milan almost straight down to Genoa. The track is always open and cleared. Unless it’s an accident in the tunnel, it might be a few hours. Otherwise the route can be traveled around the year.

Bregenz, Bludenz, Arlbergtunnel, Reschenpass, Stilfserjoch, Lago di Como, Milan, Genoa

The critical point is the Stilfserjoch. If this is closed you have to go through the Vinschgau to Merano and Bolzano.

This is definitely not the fastest route.

He asked about the possible route in March. In March, many alpine passes are closed today.

The fastest is always accessible as there is not a pass at all! There is nix with snow or the road is always cleared and not closed because of snow.

“fastest” and “forward snow” do not always go along. Even the Stilfserjoch is critical March.

Read the question – there is the fastest. Passes may be locked, but tunnels are not. You don’t have to pass the route.

The route you call is one of the slowest.
