Schmerztabletten bei Ced?

Hallo, ich hab eine chronisch entzündliche darmerkrankung und habe grade sehr starke Bauchschmerzen und Schleim+Blut im Stuhl. Darf ich gegen die Bauchkrämpfe Nurofen oder Ibuprofen einnehmen? Oder macht es das nur noch schlimmer.

No Ibu! And neither the others.

The active compounds of such preparations are, for example, acetylsalicylic acid, diclofenac or ibuprofen. This drug group should generally NOT be used (or only in the short term) for pain therapy in CED patients, as these drugs can trigger strokes of the Crohn Morbus or the Colitis ulcerosa.

Especially if you already take mesalazin. Novalgin might be an option, but is subject to prescription. That’s why I’d advise you to go to the family doctor first if you can’t get an appointment with the gastroenterologist quickly.
