The doctor takes off the gypsum when the bone has grown stable. After 4 weeks the muscles have formed back, and in the joints there are lime deposits. You can load your foot up to the pain limit and move the more you do this, the more you can move back normal. What you write is normal. Go on, even if it hurts. What you train yourself does not have to afford physiotherapy anymore. They also move the previously fixed joints to the pain limit.. You can’t move after four weeks. The bone itself is solid.

I also held this in several hand and finger breaks and surprised the doctor with good mobility

If you’re too worried about it, you should best contact a doctor. Even if you are looking forward to the newly gained freedom of movement, you should not overdo it immediately with the movement, since the foot has to get used to the other load again. That is, the muscles have to be retrained, as it is enough to walk moderately, but not beyond the pain limit, but gradually increase the range of movement.

However, if you were allowed to remove the swedish shoe with medical permission, then the bone should be relatively stable again. I.e. can withstand normal everyday loads again.

That’s my point of view.

Greeting and good improvement continue

Show your doctor. Did this tell you if you can load your foot completely normal or be careful?
