Pain from eye inflammation radiating to the entire face?

Hello. I developed eye problems at the weekend. I then got Euphrasia, but unfortunately it didn't help. When I press between my nose and eye it hurts, my eye waters and there is some pus. My GP gave me antibiotic drops. Today I went to the ophthalmologist because I have severe pain on the side of my face. She said she didn't see any acute inflammation, the antibiotic worked well, and then pressed on my eye to see if the tear duct was blocked. I was also given eye ointment. Could this pain really be caused by the eye shining?

Painkillers don't help, and now my paranasal sinuses and entire jaw hurt.

Thank you

You can trust your doctor. Yes, eye inflammation can also go to the NNH and cause pain throughout the face. You’re taking antibiotics. You need patience, too. Good improvement

You’ve been looking for a family doctor and ophthalmologist, who’s getting diagnoses and therapies, and you’re asking lay people in this forum.

Nevertheless, : Yes, it could be an NNH-inflammation, which causes these complaints.

Wait for the effect of the treatment first and get a second opinion if no improvement occurs!
