Bad internship certificate CV?

Hello everyone,

I'm currently in my practical semester, which requires a mandatory internship. At first, I was able to handle my responsibilities, but I realized that, despite my efforts, I wasn't comfortable with the tasks assigned to me. I often didn't get things done in the time that my colleagues and supervisors expected. My mood was correspondingly low.

I would also like to work in a different area in the near future that is not within the scope of my current field of work, because 1. I can apply the skills I have learned so far in my studies in the other area and 2. I like other companies better (keyword: work-life balance, general interaction with employees).

I know others in the program who were treated better for ridiculous tasks than I was with more challenging tasks.

My time at the company will soon be over, but I'm increasingly wondering what I could do if I get a bad internship certificate, which I assume I'll get.

Have you ever been in a similar situation? For an internship that only lasted a few months (approximately four months), would you leave out the certificate in subsequent applications or simply include a certificate?

So far everything has been going well in my studies (average of about 2.0)

I'm starting to get seriously worried that the internship will become a kind of drag on me.

Feel free to share your experiences with me and other interested parties 🙂

If the work certificate should not be good in terms of content, then simply leave it to future applications.

Especially if you go in a different direction in terms of content, it is not quite so tragic. A good testimony would be nice, but it goes without.

If you can do it, if necessary, make a voluntary internship again. If that’s good, you can just attach the witness instead. ;
