A few cool hours or days do nothing. Only the development starts from a certain temperature. This is also different in the different types. The incubation temperature in the first 2-3 weeks decides about the sex.

It certainly didn’t hurt the eggs. The greatest danger was probably due to the embedding, because turtle eggs can no longer be rotated after the deposit. Therefore, you should mark them at the top when removing from the egg pit so that you always know “where up”.
