Hello 404gv,
if it is a retention rail, then it would, of course, be optimal if you were to carry it through the first days. Also to get used to the rail so that it is no longer perceived as a foreign body and you can talk to it normally.
The carrying time is then reduced more and more.
The fact that the rail is disturbing at school is understandable. Take out at every meal and then re-used – well.
If you don’t wear the rail at school, it’s certainly not a drama. But you should come over 14 hours in the first days. Once you realize that you can’t use the rail without pressure, you’ll have to wear it again. If she slips well, you can reduce.
In some, the result after treatment is stable with the firm chip, in others not. You should just make sure that the thighs move and you don’t notice it because the rail is more in the can than in the mouth. It is possible to bleed a lot in this treatment phase. And it would be a pity if you hit around with a brace for years and then you can’t keep the result.
Good luck!

That’s what you got for rails now.
If you’ve worn a fixed brace so far and you’ve recently got it out, then the Retainer rails could be that keep the current position of your teeth and thus secure the result and the efforts of the treatment. Usually these of the night are carried beyond the end of the treatment.
But if you are in an active treatment with a rail system that moves your teeth by getting a new rail every week, then you should wear it as often as possible and take it out for food or active sports.
No matter what situation you are in, it can only explain to you your orthodontist. He will certainly not bite, call him and just ask him that you still have questions about the wearing time.
Even if you have to wear the rails all day, don’t worry. You’re not alone here. I myself have had to wear two stretch plates in school for a long time, as you have more luck with the much less visible tracks. In addition, so many pupils have a chip today, there’s the file. But I was ashamed of myself until after a few weeks of wearing the noodles passed.
After some time active wearing, you hardly notice the rails, all half as wild…
I didn’t wear them at the time. I was just too embarrassed. 😂
The treatment worked out anyway.
