What “recruiters” look at plays a very small role. This is at best a topic where very many candidates meet very few places and have to be sorted out in a way cost-effectively.

What the Hiring Manager looks at is then much more important. In the case of candidates with a few years obviously successful professional experience, grades – no matter what degree – are actually not interested at all. If there is no professional experience yet, you will look at the notes that exist. The grades from the Bachelor would only play a very minor role in an existing Master.

Of course, others can see that differently, also depends on industry and company size.

I always look at all reviews for applicants with little professional experience. So I can better assess how solid the basic knowledge is. With increasing professional experience, grades play a somewhat lower role for me.
